Remi Reichhold

Remi joined 5 Essex Court as a tenant in September 2017 after successfully completing his pupillage. He accepts instructions in all of Chambers’ main practice areas and in matters of public international law.

Remi is part of the Government Legal Department’s ‘Junior Junior’ scheme. He is currently acting for the Government of Mauritius in relation to the ICJ Advisory Opinion on the Legal consequences of the separation of the Chagos Archipelago from Mauritius.

Remi holds a law degree from Durham University and a first-class LLM degree from the University of Cambridge. He has volunteered at Toynbee Hall, the Free Representation Unit and as a duty advisor at Willesden County Court representing defendants in possession proceedings.
